The Cobra vs. The Executioner. Both have been on a role lately and Froch has the style and determination to beat Bhops, but Hopkins might be more effective at that weight then Froch. Froch went to hell with Pascal while Pascal seemed to be outclassed by Bhops. Any chances of crossing paths in the future? Who's your pick?

Hopkins, even at 46 all day long!

I don't think they will ever cross paths. Hopkins has stated that he wants a rematch with Pascal, then a fight with Dawson and finally a fight with Bute. If Froch and Hopkins were to fight I think Froch would actually win. Froch has really impressed me in his last two fights against Kessler and Abraham. He is much improved since his fight with Pascal. Then again the 175 limit could be a bigger issue than i'm giving it credit. I would love to see the fight.

everyone will think bhop wins straight away witout doubting it.

but i think froch has gotten used to people who are difficult to hit and good techinically, hes fought direll, pascal and taylor.

he most likely will fight ward if he beats johnson.

froch has improved his own movement and defence,he has the reach and power to get to bhop,he has the stamina and pressure to get at bhop.

i think if he beats ward no reason why he couldnt do well in that fight v bhop.

if bhop doesnt retire beforehand, and if he gets fights with bute and dawson first.

Would probably be a close fairly dirty rough fight. Could go either way definately wouldn't rule Froch out like i imagine some will.

Hopkins UD. Froch would win the first few rounds but Hopkins would figure him out after round two or so and would school him for the rest of the fight.

:D Hard to believe, ain't it!

    :yep

I hope Bhops does consider taking that route. Froch on his best night stylewise is not good for Hopkins, but maybe by that time Froch will be more past his prime than Hopkins. Hopkins still fighting like he is 29. I wonder if he will still be kicking ass at 50!

yes I've noticed Froch is learning to use his reach and boxing brain to good use, but what might of been successful vs aa will not work vs someone like Hopkins that isvery well schooled on. Frochs best chance is to do what calzaghe did, but Bhops is formidable on the inside fighting too. I'm 50-50 on this one but Hopkins will school Froch at one point

Hopkins is just too slick and experienced for Froch.

Hopkins would win easily...but the guy is pushing 46...time is the only thing against B-Hop...if the fight happens in the next year, than B-Hop wins...Froch leaves himself wide open and has sub-par defense.

46 year old Papa Hopkins wins by UD, no doubt about it.

Froch is a flawed fighter, but he is also a thinking fighter and he has youth and strength on his side. Though I picked Hopkins to defeat Pascal, I think the thinking side of Froch's game will give hell to the aged Hopkins. That said, the crafty Hopkins could actually cause Froch to outthink himself.... I'd think more about this if it actually happened, and I'd love to see it.

even if Bhop was unlucky not to get the decision it was still a close fight so sayng he schooled him is somewhat of an exaggeration.

Anyway, i'd take Bhop to take froch on points in a close fight. 1-2 rounds in it.

anyone who puts money on the table against the old fox is bettin' bold. at 175...i think hopkins wins a very comfy UD. i've become a big froch fan as of late but he would lose this fight and it wouldnt be close. even w/ bhop against the ropes, that 1-2 duck under, straight right duck under....he would put on a clinic.

the old man just won't go away...and righfully so.
