I think its still undecided who is the better fighter.. Probably need 3-5more bouts between the two for our answer.. They can be the undercard for Mundine v Soliman 4-7..
In all fairness, you'd have to agree Hoppa is at the pinnacle of his own boxing proweress... it's not rocket science to suggest he's not advancing in the skill department at all. I HOPE I'M WRONG... Either way, it's admirable of Hoppa taking the HARD fights.. but, at what cost?? Think about it.
c'mon seriously! although i realise what u r saying, just have a quick look to remind yourself how many times wilson and mirovic have had the **** beaten out of them. and i don't just mean their ko losses. hoppa really hasn't been pummelled round after round. sure he has a couple of ko losses but there r not many boxers in the world that don't have a couple of ko losses. i don't think hoppa has any intention of hanging around too long in the boxing game tbh. but yes if he doesn't work more on his fitness and some defence than he will struggle to win against these more credible opponents. i still think that if he can perform a little better each fight then he is probably good for another 4 ko losses before pulling the plug on boxing. i think he is good for local boxing because he has that explosive ko power. that's what u want your heavys to be doing, trying to knock each others heads off, not jabbing and running for 10 rounds.
Regarding your last sentence Buster... 'Safety Fights' are boring'.. But a 'Fighters Safety' is something else.. Hoppa doesn't have a jab, nor can he RUN for 10 rounds (only the best fighter in the WORLD can combine both.. lmao) Sorry if I sound concerned for Hoppa's Mental safety.
