.............Did anyone expect anything less from Texans? The worst I've ever heard of was the aftermath of the Robert Quiroga-Kid Akeem Anifowoshe bout in San Antonio. Kid Akeem lie there in the ring after the fight, collapsing as the decision was announced. He spent forever in the hospital, and left there a partially paralyzed man after months of rehab. He was carted off on a gurney, given a respirator to aid in breathing, all the while the "fans" in attendance chanted "DOA! DOA!" Way to go, ****heads. :-( **** Texas.
You have no idea what you are talking about...there are idiot cretin fight fans everywhere!! I have seen several fights in Texas and have seen great cards in which the fights were very respectful, and I've seen fight cards in Vegas, New york, and Atlantic City in which fans were complete, disrespectful idiots. When people state that they want boxing to enter the mainsteam media, this is what you will get!! Morons who don't know anything about the integrity of the sport!! I am actually happy that I belong to the fraternity of knowledgable fight fans!!
