Just curious on how the knowledgable posters on here that are tipping Hatton to win think he will do it? What tactics will he apply? Will he surpise people (and PBF) and perhaps change his style for this fight? Will PBF be dangerously understimating him? I've already tipped Hatton for a 10 or 11 TKO but I wouldn't class myself as the most knowledgable around lol
This Hatton will be unlike any other Hatton youve seen- as long as he doesnt let emotions get in the way he can win
Nope the thread isn't over :nono Now stay out of the thread please and let my questions be asked. (Plus I'm just being overly modest unlike a lot on here). I do know my boxing.
Hatton will have to swarm and swarm and swarm, take some punches to land some, and hit any part of Floyd that he can and hopefully takes rounds for his aggressiveness. This is, of course, not an easy thing to do. And I don't see Hatton doing it.
Hatton isnt way past prime like Gatti, doesnt compare with Gatti and wont try and outbox Mayweather like Gatti so I don't see ho he can be knocked out like Gatti. A stoppage could happen, but not like Gatti.
Past prime or not its immaterial.Styles make fights and Floyd is COMPLETELY wrong for Hatton. Hatton cant outbox cant outmuscle him him cant outspeed him cant out power him doenst hold any physical advantages in this fight doenst hold any talented advantages over Floyd. He has ZERO chance of winning.I expect this fight to go exactly the same way the Gatti bout did with Floyd winning by corner stoppage around 6-7th.
Here is the way Hatton can win, and it involves a few HUGE "Ifs". If Hatton really wasn't 100% for his fight with Collazo. If Floyds strength at WW is being overrated, I know its crazy to think, but as of now I have him around Hattons strength, if not stronger. If Hatton doesn't get "shocked" by Floyds speed, like everyone else. Countless fighters go in thinking and knowing Floyd is fast....but are still caught completely off guard by how fast he really is.
