How did Price look?

I understand he fought Sokolowski at the weekend, how'd he get on? As far as journeymen go, Sokolowski is actually pretty handy

 

Saw the fight, he won by about two rounds. Was an even fight. There was one moment mid fight where Kamil landed a shot and the plumber turned his back in typical Price fashion, I really thought it could have been a repeat at that moment. But Price weathered that storm.

Apart from that he was comfortable. He back-pedalled in straight lines which was poor to watch but his straights and jabs were good. His short uppercuts on the backfoot are actually lethal. Remember that's how he dropped Hammer and he landed one really beautiful uppercut on Kamil but at no stage was either fighter hurt badly which was poor IMO.

Of course with Price his stamina is always in doubt and Saturday never revealed much since it was a short fight.

He should be KOing that type of journeyman though.

Why did Price cross the road? well he didnt actually make it all the way across. A few more camps and he will get there !

 

Sharp jab which looks better. Better footwork. Still needs more roadwork.

Price on the roads would be disastrous he would gas out 2km into his run and collapse in a big heap causing a mass blockade in the middle of the road. Would be havoc for passing traffic.

Absolutely awful.

Scared of both gassing and getting hit. He was completely knackered by the fifth round and was still blowing out of his arse during the post-fight interview ten minutes later. Embarrassing.

The only positive he can take from that is the fact he didn't lose.

 

Should price retire on a win or would you look at perhaps winning the British title

 

Might as well have another crack at the British. Always find him quite intriguing to watch to be honest

 

Like the perfect Fury unretirement opponent. Fury wouldn't even have to lose much more weight and Price still gasses before he does.

 

Also did anyone clock the state of Derry Mathews' barnet? He's had a hair transplant but it's truly awful and you can still see his scalp, looks like such a fruitcake now.

Derry also nearly cause Price to be KO'd at the start of one of the rounds because he took ages to get out of the ring, Kamil pounced on Price and the plumber almost stumbled on Derry.

 

How is his gas tank so bad? We all know there's fighters who gas in the late rounds, but Pricey is a four round fighter. How can that be? Strikes me as a guy who trains hard.

 

Rabbit in the headlights when the opposition comes forward and throws, just cant move them feet quick enough.

Jab looked better and slimmed right down.

 

Penfold said that he did 12 rounds in sparring and his fitness was good in training.

I think this is absolute bull****. Put him on a treadmill I guarantee he couldn't do a simple 3k run at a solid pace. Penfold is the idiot who tried to bulk him up when his gas tank was already **** poor.
