How does he compare with Sanchez and Makhmudov?
How would you see it happens against Kabayel and Usyk?
    Against Joshua and Fury?

Nobody likes Hrgovic, no fans and no willing opposition, avoided by majority of heavyweight scene and denied world title shot four times, four. That is saying something.

He is much better than Sanchez and about 10 billion times better the Bumkhmudov.

Hrgovic doesn't have really bad aspects of his game, he is at least pretty good in everything. Adding here his size and strong mentality, he would be very tough man to beat for any less than elite heavyweight.

Saying that, he isn't outstanding in any part of the game. Even Pulev had excellent jab in his prime and I can't say Hrgovic excels in anything.

Very slow and not all that exceptional in any given department but has very good power and a cinderblock chin. He'll probably snatch a title at some point but I imagine his reign will be brief.

He's better than Sanchez and Makhmudov for sure, you only have to look at their amateur exploits to realise in terms of talent he's another level to them. How much better is hard to say as he simply isn't well tested. Only decent fighter he's faced is Zhang and he struggled a lot in that fight, but it's hard to know how his fathers death effected his performance.

The Dubois fight should be a good measure of Hrgovic. If he wins easily then he has to be taken seriously but if he struggles I suspect he'll struggle to beat the best in the division.

Filip Hrgovic was the best young heavyweight a few years ago, but probably has declined due to inactivity and poor opposition.

He's been poorly managed and promoted, and being from a small country, he doesn't have a large fan base. For some odd reason, the boxing media and fans have been against him (for example, unfair commentary and anti-Hrgovic bias during the Zhang fight). He should have moved to Canada or Australia, where talented fighters from other countries have become very popular (like Kostya Tszyu in Australia).

Daniel "Quitter" Dubois in contrast has been very well promoted by Queensberry, and given multiple opportunities and even a undeserved world title shot.
Because he's a talented heavyweight from a small country? That's saying something about the kind of people who hate him.

He's alright, kind of a poor man's Wlad.

His main problem is that he's crushingly boring.

    You got
    1. Boxer with good amateur background
    2. Good technican skills
    3. Boxer with great Physical conditions- 197/8 cm height + 208 cm reach (same size as Anthony Joshua or similar to Wład Klitschko with little better Reach)
    4. Boxer who can be called puncher (at last good punching power)
    5. Boxer who got probably one of best chin in the division (he took some serious shoots from ultra puncher Zhang and survive)
    6. Good heart and strong mind (again Zhang fight and comeback after bad start and some serious problem)

For me Filip got all atributes needed to be on top of the division. He is quicker and more explosive than Joe Joyce and probably got even better punching resistance.

Only bad sign in his case is idiotic way his pro carrer is build. He waste many time not getting better and increase expirience but its not 100% his fault (for example he lost almost full year because of Michael Hunter who pretend to want fight with him).

I like this dude and cross finger for him showing in next fight with Dubois that he is really serious name in hw. Hope that lost times dont cost him good carrer.

Ability wise he's a top ten heavyweight, IMO. Hope he gets to show it consistently soon.

He's a good fighter. And we'll see on Saturday just how good he is.

He has the potential to be one of the main players in the division, when he's at his best. A few lacklustre/average display has made people underrate him.

Only thing disappointing to me is he's not as exciting to watch as he was earlier in his pro career, and in the WSB, and amateurs.

I've lost hope in Hrgovic. He's had too many mickey mouse fights and accepting step asides for his IBF mandatory going on 3 years now.

I think same level as Jonathon Banks. Some decent skills, would win against most journeymen, close fights against boxers he should have no problems with on paper but he won't pass the first real test.

Technically decent, big strong and good chin.

But starts fights like he's half asleep and takes ages to get into his stride.

And I wish he'd cut out the rabbit punching.
