How good was Nino? Where would you rate him at middle and junior middle ? is he an ATG? His record suggest so but he’s a fighter that’s not often talked about.
Yes, he was most certainly an ATG. Not too many junior middles I'd favor over him. Took the best middleweight of all time to dismantle him, in what was at the time one of the biggest upsets of the 60s. He had an ugly style, which might be why he gets forgotten. He didn't have a silky smooth style like a Robinson; but he was very skilled and effective.
