What is the strategy for RH to win this fight? Mayweather is beatable, we just aint seen it yet! Maybe Hatton aint big enough to hurt PBF and maybe that 6" raech advantage can keep RH off him but Hatton must have a strategy to win. What do you think it will be?
What does Hatton need to do to beat Floyd Mayweather? Here are some keys... Work his way inside behind a jab - double it up Move his head on the way in so he isn't wide open to be picked apart coming in Keep the fight out of the center of the ring Dig to the body Be very dirty and rough on the inside Cut off the ring Give different angles on the inside and when Floyd is on the ropes Utilize feints and to keep Floyd reacting and out of a rhythm
probably a shotgun, something where he can shoot in that general direction and hit something. Maybe a buck shot or something with a little scatter to it. If he uses anything else by time he fires Mayweather would be out of the way.......anyway sarcasim aside. I think Mayweather is going to discourage hatton from coming forward soon or later, I think Hatton is going to take more than he wants when he comes in and eventually he's going to be reluctant, all due to Hatton's not so great defense, good fight though can't wait to watch
From reading various threads, very few give Hatton a chance. So why did he take the fight? He could have hung around 140 making plenty of $$$$$$$$$ without too much danger. I think maybe he's a true blue collar warrior. for that he gets all the props. IMO he loses on cuts around 7/8 but it wont affect his rep, he can just go back down to 140 and carry on being the man there.
I give Hatton a chance, I always give any boxer a chance against anybody, there's always a chance. I give Hatton a decent chance, it wouldn't be that "huge" of an upset, I think alot of people are just being sarcastic (I Hope).
It would take him at least two years of training and fighting at 140 to earn what he'll get against Mayweather...if he didn't lose along the way, which I think he might. Alternatively, he can take his beating, take the cash, retire, wait for the bruises and cuts to heal and kick back in his preferred manner from Dec 9th. Can't blame him really.
I have always liked both fighters. A few years ago, I termed PBF 'poetry in motion.' Hatton is always willing to have a full go, but has a bad tendency to hit and then hold. I believe that this fight should be the watershed. Both guys must attempt to show what & who they are. Not only for the fans, but more importantly, for themselves. Right now, they are talking the talk....Let's see who is able to walk the talk! Let's see which guy has learnt from all of the previous fights that they have had. That's what it's all about...learning and being able to adjust to various styles. It'll be difficult, because Hatton has not fought anyone with the ability and style that PBF posesses. It will say a heck of a lot for Hatton, if he is able to overcome PBF and vice versa.
Well as he has a good chance of beating floyd compared to floyd's previous opponents and is a underdog at the bookies i think he is a good person to put your money on.
