Fair enough. I would have like to see what would have happened in the next 5-10 seconds. Nothing is more satisfying then knowing the fight was stopped for good reason without any question. Eastman is a tough ******* and very well may have made it to the bell. I hope he makes another run, I had always liked him as a fighter too.

Good fighter... Honestly, some people here have no clue exactly how hard professional boxing is.. Ok, we all somtimes get carried away and call world class operators bums....

But if somone captures the euro title, and defends it against decent comp, he is a good fighter.

Miranda was kicking eastmans ass btw, if it wasnt stop then, it woulda been stopped later

I always corelated eastman and mormeck lol

2 black guys with blonde beards. Not somthing you see everday :yep

He was a pretty good fighter some years ago but always struggled with his low output in my opinion. He never really gained any momentum after pushing Joppy all of the way.

Slow always means bad, and fast always means good? Thanks for the heads-up.

Not sure about that... Miranda was on wobbly legs earlier in the fight... Who knows if that would happen again...

Eastman was damn good! Very underrated. Not the quickest, but one of the slickest. And he got robbed against Joppy!

I'm not the biggest MMA fan, but Nick Diaz is a good example and drives your point home. He's slow as hell, but times his punches and finds his range perfectly. And Eastman, he throws straight punches, which almost always beat wide ones.

Eastman had everything except the fire needed to get to the very top

    Always seemed too relaxed

    Great ability though

I always liked Eastman. He was tough as nails and could punch.

I always felt that his laid back manner in the ring, which resulted in a poor work rate, held him back. If he pressured opponents more im sure he could have had an even more successful career

As for the Miranda stoppage i don't think it was to bad. Eastman looked badly hurt for a few seconds then the ref stepped in to stop the fight which a lot of other refs probably would have done. To Eastmans credit after these few seconds he recovered well and looked like he could have fought on but the ref wasn't to know that.

It was on of those stoppages were you couldn't really complain to much either way if the ref had stepped in or had let the fight countinue at that point.
