Its easy to say but any time we see him in the ring with someone decent it's a bore fest can't remember the last time I saw him fight
He's talking big to draw headlines but this guy hasn't fought in two years and has lost to every single legit contender he's faced. He got dominated by Pulev, outworked by Povetkin, and lost a close fight to Parker. AJ beat all those guys easily. Styles may make fights but Hughie has no power for a heavyweight and is terrible to watch. Joshua would easily outpoint him, as would any of the rest of the top 10. He also talks about KOs but he has a terrible knockout ratio and will never be a puncher. We'll be hearing the same story in 5 years, about how he's still learning, has filled out, is now ready for the world stage etc. It's all a load of rubbish.
Hughie should pack it in. Clearly his much rumoured man strength never came along. Don’t know if he is serving a secret ban for you know what, but it’s bizarre the length of inactivity he has had. The lack of any semblance of a right hand that can land with accuracy and power has always been his major weakness.
I just assumed he retired. He was a terrible watch anyway and did nothing but make his opponents look bad. He was like the British Malik Scott without the diving.
