Former champ Diobelys Hurtado is back fighting at welterweight on april 3 at Mickosuki casino in miami...i dont expect much,very skillful but a weak chin and pretty old for a come back. still best wishes for my cuban fellow:happy
I've only seen a few Hurtado fights, but I'll always be a fan for the guts and skill he showed against Sweet Pea and Tszyu. If his chin were quality, who knows what he could've accomplished?
holy**** this guy was a beast in his prime. he had an awkward, unpredictable style that kinda reminded me of a nervous kid getting picked on a bully and then putting the bully on his ass. hurtado always gave a good fight for anyone, but fell short on the fights that mattered the most. if he does comeback i hope he's fully focused and in top condition to give us some last great fights. he's got the experience, but he will need more than that to compete.
i hope he'll put a good show but i think he's too old an back at 147(always fought at 140)his fight agaisnt sweet pea was fantastic,was ahead for 10 rds until got hit.Lost his title against vivian harris by KO in 2 rds,since then hasnt make much noise(his fight against kostya was good too,got kostya down 2 times but then tzyu picked him apart)

the fight against Tzyu was a crazy one,15 days ago he went 10 rounds winning a UD,it was horrible management-and he got burnt against one of the best p4p at the time.
