Hopkins forced Pavlik to work at his pace. You can't put up a high workrate if the only thing you're hitting is the ring-ropes.

as i said on another theard im a huge kelly fan to start off and he lost to a 43 yr old..but not just any 43 yr old he lost to a living legend in BHOP i was totally shocked but BHOP looked better than ever..he didnt look that good in his prime but kelly will rebound i am happy he took the tough fight even though he didnt have to thats a true fighter and i think it will effect him some but he will still be a top fighter at 160..160 is not that deep so he can do it and not making excuses but the weight had to effect him but he signed for the weight so what can i say..he will come back and be a good fighter..all the greats have more than 1 loss you get a loss by taking a tough fight
See the scorecards... Again, its a fact. Miranda put up a hell of a fight early on. Great fight. Eventhough Miranda ended up getting his ass beat, I still enjoy the war early on. This was the opposite. Pavlik never landed a flush shot. He was a little child fighting a monster. Done... Over.... Nothing but Hype.
Scorecards? I don't know man, it's not even listed at boxrec.com. I wouldn't call Kelly hype though, he can still do wonders at 160. He should stay away fighting at 168+. Hopkins just looked brilliant and took Pavlik to school. btw, when is you lover Edison Miranda coming back?
He may not have been 'hype' but he was waaaaay OVERhyped. Especially from many here. The next Haglar, etc. What a joke. Pavlik will do fine at 160lbs until he faces Abraham and I would bet the house he gets KTFO. He needs to stay far away from him. Miranda is back Nov 11th against a bull**** opponent. He will get another shot at 168lbs or 175lbs early next year. What he will do, who the **** knows. I am still a fan, but a more realistic one!
