everytime i see one of those posers it makes me feel like slapping them upside the head, just because they are bigger they think somehow they know more and are 'fit',

i remember couple of weeks ago i was doing one legged squats with a big weight plate held to my chest and all of those ****ers started looking at each other and were laughing pointing at my direction.

another time i was performing dumbbell snatches and one of these **** gobblers came up to me and said i am doing the military press all wrong:patsch i explained what i was doing and he said it is too dangerous and is useless.

ANOTHER time one of these ***beasts approached me while i was doing one legged romanian dead lifts with dumbbells and told me i am making a fool of myself, i told him to mind his own business and **** off, he says he was only trying to help!

Hey I'm with you, I hate weight lifting whatsover. I'm tired of boneheads saying "how much you bench?" like it's some sort of fitness test. I only do bodyweight training I hate weight lifting so much.

okay so im 126 lbs and i can bench my own weight plus 20 or so more. And some 200 lb weight lifter says i am weak because he can bench 220. What is he comparing? pound for pound we're just as strong...

What's worse is the exact opposite: On my way to El-train every morning, I pass by one of your everyday McGym-type places, the kind filled with bodybuilder types, and there's big windows all the way around so you can see inside. They have this shitty little heavybag-speedbag-combo setup right in front of one of the windows that I walk by. And I swear that every ****ing day there is some douchebag with a bandana and muscle shirt on, hitting the heavybag as hard as he can with no semblance of form whatsoever, and, of course, he's doing it bare-handed. It makes me want to pound on the glass and scream YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!!!

Maybe you were doing something wrong though, and they were trying to help.

Bodybuilders probably can't help you with boxing, but I'm sure they can help you with weightlifting.

    It's what they do.

Are you talking about body builders?

Or posers who go the gym..and have a primitive knowledge of training. People off the street..

If you are...yes i know what you mean. I like to see there faces when i am dead lifting 180kg...

The gym i go too..has afew real body builders who train there. There is one guy a big Nigerian..very informative. His body looks like it has been cut out of stone..he never shows off in the gym. Always trains in a Hoody..and tackie bottoms...

    A big serious man.

They have completly different goals when lifting weights, they lift to gain size, something a boxer would only really want to do if going up a weightclass.

You'd be better off asking a stength coach. Hell you would always be better off asking a strength coach.
