if you really love boxing and are a pure fight, boxing fan, you have to be hoping that toney wins. He is old, and he talks trash, and hes brash and bold and all that but hes good, not good, GREAT. he is a PURE boxer. He is as old school as we have it these days. and judging by his training footage, hes in shape. He also has a football background so dont think he doesnt have the power to shoot. I dont say this with any offense towards anyone but honestly, if you think mma fighters punch harder than boxers you are mistaken. Boxers PUNCH harder they may not KICK harder but they punch harder and the evidence is through simple logic. A logic with Bruce Lee himself agreed with... a boxer has 2 weapons that he trains 10,000 times each while an mma fighter has a few more weapons that they train 10,000 times all together. so naturally, the fact that a boxer trains with NOTHING but his hands the man knows how to punch and how to punch hard. if youre new to boxing and found it through mma than you dont know what youre talking about and idk what else to say to you but anyway 10oz gloves, again no offense, but if youve never boxed before you have no idea what the difference from 10oz t 4oz gloves are. I dont feel like going into detail on that topic
