I think Shane is gonna really give it to him. Cotto is always very open to a big punch and shane has serious combos. I think Cotto style will be perfect for mosley to put on a great show. Zab had all the chances to but he lacks heart and the skills that Shane has. But we will see I am a big cotto fan but I think he is too sloppy and shane will punish him.

    Cannot wait for this fight

    Agreed.

I hope for the best for both of these guys.

In the end, I feel Shane will land too many punches.

I too will be there slick nick.

Lovemore N'Dou was Cotto's toughest fight. He rocked Cotto a couple of times and forced him to outbox rather than slug N'Dou. Cotto also backpedaled some.

If Cotto fights smart, he can beat Mosley. But if Shane hurts him and Cotto decides to slug it out, he might get into trouble. Shane is faster than Lovemore, and speed often counts more than sheer power - it's the punches ya don't see coming that gitcha.

Shane has never been very mobile - he tends to pose, kinda like a prime Roy Jones, daring the opponent to throw a shot or come in. If Cotto gives him lots of movement it'll make things tougher for Mosley.

i like cotto too but his abilty to get hit is amazing he can be hit by anybody and shane aint just anybody.

shane might not have the one shot power that he had at lightwieght but he could definatly pop a few holes in that armour.

cotto is to easy to hit thats all that i feel the fight will hinge on

I believe in cotto, he has proven himself to me. Shane is on a roll but you can see from the Forrest and Winky fights, Shane's will can be broken when he gets hurt or frustrated and I haven't seen that in cotto yet.

one bad thing I noticed about Cotto is he has a habit of closing his eyes . . . thats how Corley hurt him pretty bad.

Really?Well he is not sloppy I guess I kinda used bad term but he throws alot of wild punches and leaves himself open.He commits so much to all of his punches which is not really a bad thing but if you notice how Judah was timing that uppercut from far away I just think Mosley will tear him up.They show alot of slow motion clips from that fight and he is so open it is scary. And compared to other elite fighters his combos are not like Moselys or Mayweathers. Which I think will be his downfall.

he used to have better defense as a young prospect. . . IMO he's the kinda guy who has fallen in love with his power. . . easy to see why but he will probably pay dearly for it.

Well they are not super wide but they are a little bit to sloppy and a tad wide/ looping at times for fighting a guy like mosely. Like I said he will be so easy to hit for Mosley. He just leaves himself open for a big counter. That is why fighters like Floyd,Hopkins,Winky(the new winky) will never get koed cause there feet are always set and ready to take a punch they never over commit. And Cotto over commits.
