just watch oscar when he was young, hungry and needed to prove himself. watch how many combos he threw and watch how aggressive he was.

oscar, in my opinion, cheapens himself every time he opens his mouth now because it's insincere promo bull**** and, even though i grew up and loved watching oscar fight, i don't think it's a bad thing pacman shut him up as a serious opponent to top flight competition.

Hatton jump-punches the left hook from 2 meters away. I'm sure PAC will divine a way to get out of the way of it.

Yes indeedy. Oscar is like a black hole that sucks the energy, meaning and dignity out of boxing. Thank you Manny for knocking him out, and knocking him out of relevance.

Freddie knew, and he had already said it himself, he only wanted the Oscar fight because Hoya could no longer do those things. The hoya of 7 years ago does a skin job on Pacquiao, and all the other Welterweights currently in the game.

oscar had a killer short left hook and is a HOF fighter, but i think it's dismissive to say that he'd beat any of the current welters considering he lost the biggest fights of his career and was never hard to hit.

I didn't give you an in depth analysis, but I think the Oscar that fought Trinidad and Mosley would be the Welterweight champion today.

If you can name a 147lb fighter active today that beats him, I would like to hear his name. Make a new thread, by all means. We can discuss.

but with Oscars weakness now uncovered, anybody will now be trying to use. Oscar needs to evolve first, before he plans to face anybody.

I said the Oscar of 7-8 years ago. Being shot, and weak at 147 was not a weakness of his in 2001.
