It would have been so great for the sport, Haye then facing Vitali, even the face off would have been mouth watering. Vitali would probably have wrapped a chair round his head. Vitali is not as cool as Wlad, at all, something would have gone down. Then the fight itself, would have been far more exciting.

Really wish he fought Vitali now.

I didn't care who won, I wanted a fight full of controversy with about 7 knockdowns.
Preferably with a bit of referee interference, a couple of long counts and maybe a really quick one as well.
Green men with poisoned water bottles dowsing people with vaseline. The lot.

A Haye win would have been better, purely for the rematches.

That's what I mean.....just some ****ing drama! If Haye beat Wlad, Vitali would have been pretty pissed, could have been a great series of fights maybe.

    :rofl:rofl these responses...

I agree though, Vitali would have lost it for sure and there would have been drama.

Well, you are in luck. It just so happens that Vitali is not ready to forgive Haye and offered him a fight. Unfortunately, Haye refused on the grounds of "Having no beef withVitali"

Haye was/is planning on retiring, him winning would've sucked for the sport.

I bought in to the idea even though my brain kept tryin' to tell me it would go like all Wlad's other fights, only it would be Haye in there.

The potential scenarios if David had pulled off some **** would have been incredible.

there is that too. Fine point my friend.

HAD Dave won, only to immediately retire.....well, that would suck.:yep
