jim twite and haye were both based in england and both in london i believe. solis is cuban and was only likely to have fought lewison at an international tournament, meaning lewison would be a good level amateur and most likely in comps like the commonwealths etc. - i have heard nothing of this im calling bollocks unless there's some evidence.
Solis may well have been a good AM, but he's a shocking pro. Being good in the AMs means absolutely nothing at all in the pros. Ask Audley...
