Adamek Glazkov and especially Solis Thompson will be real good fights. Considering all their high IBF rankings, the winner of those should fight each other or Chagaev for an IBF final eliminator. Thoughts on likelihood of it coming off and if so winners?

Wouldn't they be fighting Pulev for an IBF final eliminator?

Last I read, Pulev is Vlad's mandatory, but Pulev wanted to get another fight before fighting Vlad. Vlad will beat Pulev.................

wlad too old to beat pulev...wlads will get defeated because of father time and because pulevs jab and the fact is fighters get old and at 38 soon that is ancient for a heavyweight, wlads almost 38...he looked horrid against povetkin/ holding like a sissy/ and at 241 lbs perhaps over trained or just old but his face looked off/ and i wouldnt say wlads going to have an easy nite with leapai either...

Please, 38 too old, ancient even? Stupid ass comment.....Hopkins is 49 and still beating top competition at LHW :patsch 42 yr old Vitali would beat Pulev without trouble. The Bulgarian Ruslan Chagaev look-a-like is nothing special, and he's in his physical prime.

At cruiserweight Ola Afolabi confirmed on Facebook that he'll be fighting Mirko Larghetti in an IBF eliminator for a shot at YP Hernandez.

That's great. Probably Afolabis last chance at titledom. Hernandez is a tough cookie though, a truly skilled boxer unlike brawler Huck.

SO He is supposed to stay idle while Wlad defending WBO first.
    Or Pulev is running scared?
I cant see how Wlads WBO title defense - long overdue is happening after His IBF mando fight with Pulev.

Pulev is Wlad's mandatory. By this time, hopefully Wlad and Pulev will have fought, and a new final eliminator would be appropriate.

No thoughts on who would win Adamek vs Chagaev or Adamek vs Solis or Solis vs Chagaev?

Nice, I'd like to see Chagaev back in action. As far as IBF eliminators ... Pulev is the mandatory challenger. So there are several options around here.

    1. Wlad decides to go after the WBC belt after his WBA defence. In that case he avoids Pulev as much as he can but to a certain point where he:
1a) uses the same mischievous tactics as his brother to postpone title defences that are long due. Meanwhile hoping that Pulev would have lost focus or lost while keeping busy.
1b) drops the IBF belt while trying to avoid Pulev (highly unlikely)
    2. Wlad fights Pulev and loses badly in a total upset.
    3. Wlad fights Pulev in an ugly fight to win an ugly decision that is close to robbery.
    4. Lepai pulls out the biggest upset in history of human kind and then gets brutalized by Pulev

No, Pulev won the final eliminator and is mandatory.

But there's another four-fighter box off: Glazkov-Adamek and perhaps Thompson-Solis. The winners of those fights then fight each other, and that will determine the next mandatory after Pulev.

That`s a good tournament. I wonder in what shape Solis will show up against Thompson. This will determine the final outcome.
