    Ibf European title

First I've heard of this title. Jono Carroll v Jon quigley at super feather both unbeaten looks a good fight

I wonder if fighting for this title will effect the opportunity to fight for the genuine European title. I know u can't if u box for wbo European title.

Yeah it does. Surely board wud have passed it off as a British title eliminator. But that doesn't get u a world ranking lol

The EBU title essentially is the WBC European title. Granted it deservedly is held in a higher esteem due to history and having an actual rankings system in place

Carroll isn't eligible for the British title. A rankings belt with one of the 4 major orgs like this was really the only 'title' fight they could have done. Obviously Warren/MTK believe the long-term benefit of getting a foothold in the rankings and the bump in ticket sales from casuals attracted by there being a 'title' fight is worth the investment in the sanctioning fee

I predicted this sh_t when the WBO came up with it. Not much longer now before the WBA and WBC will follow.
