Probably crooked, lost many of his biggest fights, easy to ignore. I've been shouting about him for years, but even amongst the Classic brethren...say, that has a ring to it...even among the Classic brethren, there's not that much enthusiasm for his inclusion.
I knew Bob Lee very well too BUT Hazzard's name has never been in line with anything corrupt. He was rated as the top referee for 3 years in a row before he was appointed the New Jersey State Athletic Commissioner and he stayed their for 22 years.
