Erm.. Well looking at the following , I'd say it's had it's fair of names
Hopkins / hatton / pac / floyd / Lewis x2, wlad / GGG / s.martinez / Lacey .... The list goes on

So yeh if they can have fighters like the above as there champion - then they must of done something right.

 

Lewis never won the WBO (though who held it at the time?)

Was it Wlad Klitschko in this mofo?


But he was the inaugural WBA-WBC-IBF-IBO champ.

 

So maybe it woulda been good fights if Lewis fought Wlad/Ruiz/Byrd to keep all the belts.. never been done though apart from the 2 headed Klitschko monster.

 

It's a bauble to attach to fringe level fighters on the way up. Like the WBA interim,Wbc Silver etc

 

The governing bodies and titles in boxing are a ****ing joke.
