The picture definitely looks distorted. The thing that sticks out to me the most is the size of his fists.
Dempsey was known to have big fists. The picture might be distorted but it looks quite normal to me. I thought Dempsey had a bigger neck though, this might be him at his skinniest/leanest, drawn fine before a fight.
Well they say guys with big knuckles can punch harder. Looks odd to me, but maybe it is in fact correct.
I could have sworn I'd read somewhere that Dempseys hands were really small and that was quite a distinctive feature of him, gonna have to look that up now

looks like Dempsey or some ancient beast of years far gone Heavyweights have a lot of blubber attached to that right now and they way Dempsey got those muscles was from hanging on to train bottoms
