...wins a world title will you be happy for him?

I mean, I kind of shared the popular sentiment when he got KO'd. Mostly because I wanted revenge for the insult of putting it on PPV, but then visiting ESB for the last couple of days a lot of people have been going way over the top with their hatred for Khan. I personally, don't understand that level of hostility. :think So assuming Khan learns a lot from the experience, becomes a defensive master, encounters a fairly weak belt holder, and shock-horror, actually manages to win a meaningful world title (I know it's a big leap, but this is boxing, anything is possible) I would be very happy for him, and I can see a lot of people going on vacation from these boards for a couple of days. :hi:

I'd have admiration for him, to come back from something as humiliating as that after all the junk he's been talking would be impressive. I can't think of anybody that has been humbled that badly and come back to win a title, so he'd deserve massive credit

    Overall, I wouldn't be arsed.

Yes, I'd be well chuffed. Another British world champ and he'd be one that did it despite having a chin fashioned from something the queen drinks her tea from. It would be a great acheivement.

Not sure why but that tickled me

If Khan wins a strap I'll be delighted, I'd love him to do well. No animosity from me at all. It's more frustration at his lack of development.

My main gripe is the beating of poor/average opponents and then passing them off as world class and the avoidance of any decent opponent.

If Khan stopped beating the Gomezs of this world and then proclaiming them world class, and fought decent guys on the way to a real world title I'd be happy for him.

If his career unfolds as it has so far, and he keeps talking about Pacman etc, he deserves the same kind of ridicule reserved for Audley.

if he won a genuine title by beating a respectable opponent i'd be happy for him (and amazed).

i've always said i'd support him in a fight against an international world level opponent, as i would with any brit.

I'm not overly bothered, but yea it would be good to have a British title holder kicking around. We perhaps could be short in a few years to come.

I wouldn't be unhappy, nor over the moon. Despite all the laughing over the last few days I think he could still be mollycoddled to a strap if they are really careful to avoid punchers and there happens to be a feather fisted champ he could challenge. The guy is fast and has good offense skills its just his chin is beyond awful.

When Khan is crowned WBF World Champion you will all be forced to eat your words with a generous helping of humble pie.

    Mark my words.
