    Is he better than Joe?
And therefore I assume better than Nigel, Chris etc etc

I dont think so, he would have acheived more in a shorter amount of time, Calzaghe never had the big fights straight away and one after the other like Froch has.

Froch would need to beat Bute and 175 bunch to go over Calzaghes achievments, and Im a Froch fan.

  3. What about Murray, Robin, Richie and Glenn?

    WHEN he beats Andre, no.

He definitely has the potential to though. He has a range of different options lying ahead of him and if he is savvy he could better him. Bute and a move to 175 for starters would be great, as Joe pointed out.

kessler was a good win for me.......if he had of fought rjj and bhop earlier and won, then he would get a lot of respect from me.

Bhop is a difficult one considering how much he is still offering today, over 3 years later

Hopkins was a great win, he was still elite.

Calzaghe would have been huge if he got the wins over unbeaten Pavlik and tekn Dawson's "0"

I think he loses to Calzaghe but has better career wins ...

    He IS still elite, confusing

  13. I think it's fair to say he'd be considered greater, yes. But still not a better fighter, I'd favour Calzaghe over him H2H and think that prime vs prime he'd hand Froch a pretty clear decision defeat.

It's a bit like Jones and Hopkins, one is better than the other, but the other has achieved more in the sport and deserves to rank higher.

If he wins his next few fights then he probably goes well ahead

Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Jonson, Ward, Bute, Kessler>>>>>Eubank, Lacy, Kessler, Hopkins, shot Jones Jnr

So if he can beat Ward this year and then Bute and rematch with kessler next year he has achieved more than Calzaghe despite what happens after that imo
