Margarito got to williams because he is also a very tall ww. Cotto relies on his jab to get close enough to land to the body but will be unable to land that jab. Williams is cottos worst nightware at ww. Fast active and freaky tall and awkward as ****.

just because cotto destroyed him does not mean williams will do the same, quintana couldn't handle cotto's body shots, he took cotto's shots to the face but not the body blows and williams hardly ever throws to the body.

Hmmm you see problem is Paul does not know how to utilize his physical gifts he allows fighters to enter his realm to often his jab has not reached the level of boxing education that Cotto's has. Cotto does not have to bore his way in like Margo he can methodically and patiently find his way in behind an educated jab pointed towards PW's midsection and chest. It's a stretch to imagine Williams KOing Cotto if Mosley and Zab coud'nt....plus for some strange reason I feel PWilliams punch output will not equal is past preformances because he will attempt the money shot more often leaving him open for more counters. If Margo landed well and shorter armed more accurate counter puncher like Cotto will find its target.

he doesn't have to jab to the face, cotto can jab to the body, one thing you must know about cotto is he adjusts very well to his oponents although it take 2 or 3 rounds.

WIlliams did start to tire a little in the later rounds as Margarito started to come on. It was Williams first title fight, in enemy territory he weathered the storm or the "tornado" if you will. Williams came back to win the 12th round, on my car he won 8-4, possibly 7-4-1..but that is about as close as Margarito got.

Cotto is awesome and does adjust very well but he has not fought a freak like williams yet. I dont think he can adjust to that. Williams will make sure he keeps his distance against cotto unlike margarito. Cotto will have to take to much punishment to get inside since he is not that hard to hit.

If Cotto happens to lose to PW that doesnt mean he should regret fighting him. . . .

"Its better to regret something you did than something you didnt do."

  13. AGREED:good Paul at 6-1 would tower over the short 5-7 Cotto, keep him on the outside with that long hard southpaw jab, and pick COtto apart:hey Cotto's easy to hit so this wouldn't go the distance:-( Williams by late TKO..

Why would Cotto regret a TKO victory?
