This content is protected Again. Vic is slower, older, and even more of a ******. Donaire's in his prime KTFOing everyone he runs into. Donaire would murder him again.
Donaire stops him again. If it was a lucky one punch KO last time you could think maybe Vic has a chance, but it wasnt, Donaire totally took him to school and then stopped him. Unorthodox guys with open defense tend to do bad against more orthodox and very fast guys. Vic has too many bad habits that he gets away with most guys but cant with Donaire who will catch him every time with his speed and reach.
Like Vic, saw him fight live once in 2008 to win a belt, but he's 35 and Donaire has his number and is really coming into his own. Donaire would KO him again in my opinion.
Was it really Perez' chin, or was it Vic's lack of relative power at 118? Or a bit of both? Some of those shots 'should' -- in theory, anyway -- be dropping people, but they weren't. I'm not convinced it was all down to chin. Donaire still wins, IMO.
He deserves the Donaire rematch. I think Vic would have to box the perfect fight against Donaire in order to win. I dont think he can do it, but he will make it more interesting than last time.
Does he deserve a rematch? Why? He holds a lightly regarded IBO title right now. Donaire holds two of the four major titles. Let's see Vic win against Agbeko/Mares winner. Still he gets sodomized by the new golden boy.
Same result. But I wouldn't exactly rule out Vic being able to turn the tables against Agbeko or Mares.
