if floyd were to get a bad cut (like cotto's cut vs clottey), would he tough it out and fight on or quit similiar to how campbell did? Personally i wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a campbell.

That's because you know nothing about him.

Mayweather fought with broken hands and ribs all the way. His early fights were mostly brawls and exchanges where he was caught with punches that busted his lips and got his nose to bleed yet continued going.

He also took a serious intentional low blow from Judah and never looked to get the fight stopped or seek any way out.

Its not because i know nothing about him, its because i'm not on his nuttsack. Like i said, i wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a campbell after a bad cut over the eye. (busted lip and bloody nose is different)

You don't know that. PBF has never shown a lack of heart in the ring and has fought on in fights before with broken or hurt hands as well as bad shoulder.

So what are you basing this off of?

He'd quit because he's never fought with a rotator cuff injury, or broken hands and ribs?

Why do you think that? What has happened to make you believe he would do that? Do you also think that about Hopkins or James Toney??? Why or Why not?

Because i believe floyds biggest fear is to catch a L. (which is why he avoids top notch fighters in his weight class, nowadays) So, if he gets a bad cut within four rounds, and feels like his opponent is getting the best of him, i feel he'll quit to get the no decision and a possible rematch. I'm not getting into hopkins, toney, etc. We're talking floyd.

Don't underestimate Floyd's will to keep his 0. Being undefeated is everything to him. I'm far from a Mayweather fan, but i'll say this for him - hell would freeze over before Floyd quit in a fight. Imo, you have to knock him out cold, or win on points to beat him, and there are few, if any fighters out there right now that could do either.

I think if nd when the time comes, Floyd will take his L like a man, give his props and then get over it. He might not be the same when he loses but I doubt he'll ever "quit" over a cut.
