How would it rank in terms of wins by a British fighter in history? Would it eclipse Honeyghan/Curry for instance?

Honeyghan/Curry? Doubt it. Curry was widely considered the best fighter lb4lb.

Klitschko is an old man now...

John H Stracey v Jose Napoles even.
An old man on his own turf.

Hatton Tsyu is a good shout.

Old but still top notch fighter vs younger up and comer who might just have the style to give him fits.

In all fairness I think it would be huge.
Klitschko has dominated for 11 years now, and no one has come close to beating him in that time.
As it is I think Fury will get sparked.

Because of his perceived "lack of ability" by the British public, especially the casuals who refer to him as a "fat gyppo" I think this will send shockwaves across the nation.

Wouldn't be that great IMO, as all it would show is how much wlad has declined. not a chance in hell the wlad from 2011 loses to fury, current wlad should beat fury soundly anyway.

Fury beats any version of 'Steward' Wlad.

I actually feel the 'old' slugger/ko artist Wlad would have a better chance.

Terry is completely right. The media want to paint him as a talentless gypo who's a complete idiot who gets by on size alone and it's a miracle his even got this far. When in reality his actually very talented and could finally be very dedicated. And I can guarantee you we havnt even seen nearly the best of Fury yet
