If Haye Loses

    Where does he go, with the personality he has I would say he would have more difficulty coming to terms with the loss than Wladimir who is definately stronger mentally.

    And my belief is, is that if he does lose it will be at the hands of a brutal KO by Wlad which would make it even harder for Haye to take.

    The reason Hatton could recover from a brutal loss was because of his outgoing personality, he never took himself seriously.

    Haye has that arrogant personality like Mayweather, it always harder for people like this to accept defeat. i.e Naz

    Will we see him move to the states and star alongside Vinnie Jones in a B rate Hollywood movie or will he be able to pick himself up and carry on fighting still basing himself in the UK

    I can imagine the backlash from the "fans" over here won't be good, the abuse he'll have to take if he does lose will make it very difficult.

    I can see him moving to Cyprus/Miami and only turning up in the UK for Groves fights and that will be about it. I think he recognises that he will have no legacy and his reputation will be shot if he loses. The Hayemaker camp will continue and he will keep getting pretty decent paychecks every so often.

    Hatton dealt with his losses by diving into a mountain of coke and irish female boxers. What a cheeky little **** he is.

    LOL, true. However even though I think Ricky is very overrated, to comeback from that Mayweather defeat and then take on Manny takes alot of balls, thats the only reason I admire him.

    He was doing interviews the next day with the media, cracked a joke with Larry about slipping etc

    If will be very difficult for Haye, especially as I reckon the K bros as respectful as they are won't be too generous to him if does lose after all his antics

    I dont think Haye is that cynical.

    Yes he is all about the money.

    But he is a clean living athelte - who has made the most of his talent - by training hard and living clean - that deserves respect - it takes discipline and commitment to keep in the kind of shape Haye is in.

    He at least wants to win and had trained to win.

    So even if he does lose - and is comforted by the fact - he has just earned a zillion quid - he has shown a lifetime of discipline and sacarfice to get there - so fair play to him.

    Good point, you can tell Haye is very intelligent and I don't know whether the way he acts to promote the fight is really him or him just acting like the bad guy to promote the fight.

    He could be as tough mentally as Wlad, but this is the pinnacle of his career, if he fails theyre aint anywhere really to go. Forget the Vitali fight and a rematch with Wald would be unlikely unless he loses on points and gets a rematch in the UK.

    Any other fight the public would not be interested in.

    There is no doubt he will be sorted financially for the rest of his life.

    Dont know where people are getting the idea that Wlad is mentally stronger than Haye from.

    If Haye loses, he retires unless its controversial. After all the talk he's done over the past few years a bad defeat ends his career right there and then, the British public would start seeing him as being an overrated loudmouth all along who got put in his place the first time he fought somebody that was actually any good at heavyweight.
