The guy is a part time boxer,no experience and under 5 fights...fighting a guy with years and years of experience,40 plus fights...I dont give two fuks Tc what you u reckon mate, find me someone else in the same boat..No im not saying his a great boxer or gonna b a champion etc etc...im saying good on the bloke for stepping it up so early..when you got a dud like Chauncy Welliver with 50 or 60 pro fights? and still hasnt fought a notable opponent..his best win is against a light heavyweight,3ft 2,overweight,retired Lawrence Tuasa!
You can't expect much more from him and it's good to see him step up his level of opposition. I just think that given as his previous performances have been nothing exceptional, it's not that interesting following his career as a bit part fighter. You can't expect more from him given his rugby career takes priority, but in saying that, it's hard to take his boxing career too serious given this being the case. I will be interested to see what he says are his future plans in the ring should he win this upcoming fight.
A step up from what? his last opponent Alipate Liava'a whom had lost 7 fights in a row before fighting SBW?. Mugs like SBW are turning the sport into Celebrity boxing. If this was any other person doing this, people would be bagging the crap out of him as they do De Mori but for some reason SBW gets a free pass because he is some rugby Celebrity somewhere in the middle of bum fck and u got a pretty mouth. Until he is prepared to have a go, people should boycott all his fights and support the real fighters in this country that do have a go. Idiots like SBW only dilute the sport even more.
These circus fighters like SBW, Barry Hall, Butterbean, Kimbo Slice etc are just raping and pillaging the sport.
50$ is a bargin to watch a Rugby League player thats hung like a lady beetle beating up on some bum, or so the SBW/Mundine fans will tell you
So how does an actual boxer become a keyboard warrior,oh yeah am's or sparrs don't count as an actual fighter....:hi:
to right and thats why SBW never had a single amateur fight and is now fighting Bums with a string of losses on mainevent for $50 :hi:
