We can all agree he is something special, right?
    That would be extremly impressive

I kind of think Hrgovic is a walking punching bag tbh, almost tailor made for someone like Itauma.

He's definitely a step up from Itauma's previous competition, but not the kind of opponent that will inevitably lead to some people declaring him king of the division.

If Itauma doesn't KO/TKO Hrgovic by R7 I'm happy to receive a permanent ban.

Still he has only one loss, and one can argue that underestimated Dubois. I remember a few years ago on this forum they were discussing him against guys like Ali, Foreman...

It’s a good win in the right track but no. DDD after would be a great win

Of course I agree with you, Dubois is a reigning champion and a much bigger puncher. But I am not sure if people here consider Dubois a much better boxer than Hrgovic. As I remember Hrgovic was landing at will before gasing and cutting

Depends on what we mean by smoke. If he lands a decent shot, opens a cut and the fight is stopped early it won't be super impressive. But if he can blast Hrgovic out to the head (or body which I think is a real possibility) then that would be immensely impressive. Hrgovic gave Daniel Dubois plenty of trouble before the fight was stopped and damn near landed at will on him so if Itauma can dominate him I think it'd speak volumes.

Respect both men for what they are doing, but favour Hrgovic

I have a feeling Hrgovic will win inside the distance

In the UK the HW scene is very tough, especially when campaigning for the British title at the weight
That can be a make or break fight
Just look at the level of some of those bouts with fighters that are still active

    Fury vs Chisora
    Joshua vs Whyte
    Dubois vs Gorman
    Dubois vs Joyce
    Wardley vs Adeleye
    Wardley vs Clarke

Sometimes though UK based HWs tend to go down the international route a bit more where they are good promising HWs but get stepped up a bit too soon, where they often do themselves proud but haven't had the tough British title route that as said seems like it can make or break

Itauma seems to be going down the international route

It would be impressive if stopped Hrgovic in quick time, if it is a legit stoppage and not a cut or injury
I understand why so many favour Itauma with his speed and movement but I think Hrgovic could neutralise the speed with a long jab and long straight punches

It has to be, there are very few heavyweights in history that could stop Hrgovic within a couple rounds, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Bowe, Foreman, thats all i can think of.

Itauma would have to be special to pull that off i don't see it, he shouldn't even be a big favorite. Hrgovic will win if Itauma gasses, that's a massive gulf in experience

No. What wpuld be something special is beating a name. Which neither of them have.
