Possibly, since their first fight was very close, but Angott would have probably again won the decision had they fought a rematch for the title. Many fighters were able to match Angott, but few were able to get the better of him. I doubt Mancini's reign would have lasted very long even if he had won the title somehow, as there were simply too many great contenders around who were all as good or better than Lenny.
