If Usky wins next week. Does he go down as one of the best boxers/heavyweights ever?

How ? beating two mediocre guys in a weak division ? Fighting only once per year ? 3 tittle defenses ?

Some of you like the guy so much, that you lower boxing standards so much.

He becomes the best fighter of his era. That’s all you can do. It’s rare for heavies to become p4p #1.

If he wins, I still wouldn't think he'd beat a prime Lewis or klit
But is a huge statement what he would of accomplished

Regardless of his result against Fury, he is already a great boxer. Likewise, regardless of his result against Fury, he won't be an all time great heavyweight based on that fight.

He goes down as one of the greatest of his era but he won't be one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time no.

Compare him to Holyfield who moved up in weight and has wins over the likes of Holmes, Foreman, Bowe, Tyson, etc.

Usyk's resume is not even close to that at Heavyweight even if he beats Fury who recently got a gift decision vs an MMA fighter.

If he beats Fury comfortably then his name will be always mentioned when talking about great fighters.
I still think Fury beats him though. Rounds 10-12 your boy Usyk is getting stopped.

One of the best boxers ever? He already is. One of the best HWs ever? No.

As to great fighter, yes, absolutely. Boxing is not usually a statistical sport, but being the first undefeated first four-belt cruiser champ and first 4-belt heavyweight champ is a special accomplishment.

As to heavyweight, yes, but I respect others who think otherwise.

Top 10 accomplishment wise possibly ever. Won everything from amateur as a kid, european, international, olympic, GOAT Cruiserweight, and Undisputed heavy? Easily.

    H2H? Very high.

GOAT Heavy? Not enough depth and time at heavy for that, but that's not really his goal. He just wants to win every trophy in the game, and he almost has. EVERYTHING!

    Olympic Gold
First Four belt unified champ in extremely deep Cruiser division at time.
First 4 belt unified champ at heavy defeating the top 2 heavies in the division. Both in prime and a lot bigger.

    total ATG

How he would fare in other fantasy matches is anyone’s guess but he is undeniable ATG

    He'd surpass Hoylfield

And holyfield had horse grade roids to bulk up to heavy like Canelo. All usyk has is irradiated chernobly rocks and catfish
