    1. Wlad and Wilder will have two mutual opponents: Fury and Joshua, arguably the two best fighters Wlad and Wilder will have faced. Wlad’s record against them is 0-2, Wilder would be 1-0 vs Joshua and 0-2-1 vs Fury.

    2. In the period between Fury’s win over Wlad and Usyk moving up to heavyweight, there were several fighters who had a claim to being the top heavyweight in Fury’s absence. Wilder beating Joshua would make him the retrospective No.1 heavyweight active in this 3 year interregnum.

    3. Wilder will be 38 to Joshua’s 34 and Wilder has taken more physical punishment in his career, especially in his two brutal stoppage defeats to Fury, so Wilder beating Joshua at this stage of his career is arguably more impressive than the reverse.

Wlad lost to Fury in a Sauna and lost every round in the ring unable to land any punches.

almost 40yo out of his prime Klitschko after 67 fights 18 title defenses

Fury will never be greater than Klitschko

What will Fury have achieved when he turns 40. 67 avoided Usyk fights and 18 kids

If Wlad didn't think he was in or around his prime then he wouldn't have fought Fury, who his trainer said was the next dominant heavyweight and the biggest threat to him:

“Tyson Fury is the biggest threat to Wladimir in terms of talent and toughness” - E. Steward, 2012

P4P No.2 Wlad had a massive experience advantage, A-side advantage and home advantage, against a 4-1 underdog opponent in his world title debut. And by popular consensus Wlad lost between 9 and 11 rounds.

According to Compubox, Wlad landed fewer punches on Fury over 12 than Wach or Greco-Roman victim Povetkin landed on Wlad. Fury took the the fewest ever in a victorious 12 round championship fight against a champion in any weight class.

Wlad's best wins: Byrd 1, Peter 1, Thompson 1, Haye, Povetkin (hybrid box-wrestling match)

Wlad's losses: Puritty, Sanders, Brewster 1, Fury, Joshua

If Fury beats Usyk then he's easily ahead of Wlad. He already has three wins better than anyone Wlad beat, all away from home and no losses.

Who did Wlad beat who Fury wouldn't destroy? Big stiff idiot robot who had no competition...and got chinned THREE TIMES. Clinching midgets and pushing them over....he isn't even good at clinching either big useless dosser....and Haye actually fought him same Haye who 1 year later he ducked Fury because the smack talk was too brutal and Haye got a glimpse at Fury's IQ and fighting mentality, didn't like it one bit.

Fury will have beaten two undefeated long reign champions in Usyk & Wilder, Usyk bieng on par with Holyfield. Would have beat long reigning Wlad to take the crown and remain lineal for the last 8 years. Beaten anyone worth a shilling all shapes and sizes in dominating fashion and taken bombs off the hardest puncher in HISTORY, which is another stat that will be cemented if Wilder continues to fight.

Oh and he would have given an MMA HW lineal champ a real payday which is admirable charity work....and Usyk his retirement payday.

Prime Povetkin and Ibragimov were better than Joshua. I’d even put a wager on prime Byrd out boxing Joshua and gassing him out. Fury beat a well past prime Wladimir and then DUCKED the rematch. Let’s not try to front like he didn’t.

Fury needs to man up and face Usyk or relinquish the WBC strap just like Bowe did to avoid Lewis. It’s that simple.

Joshua is a British Level fighter well promoted by Hearn.

Any decent heavyweight gets a stoppage.

Wilder will obliterate him and so would Joyce and Bakole.

If he beats him? The question should be will they ever fight.

He's just another brainless Fury hater. The guy suffers to post anything longer than two sentences.

If Wilder beats Joshua then it simply means he's the better fighter (doesn't matter which one is more technical and blah-blah). But this will end Joshua's career which in any way is on a downward spiral.

I definitely agree on your opinion that Prime Povetkin and Ibragimov were above Joshua. And Byrd too

Man, that is one strange opinion. Wladimir Klitschko was losing to bums and has lost five times, Fury has never lost. He's also had more marquee wins. Klitschko ruled over bums and old men in Germany. If Fury retired tomorrow, he's proven that he's better than Wladimir Klitschko. He's a great, Wladimir Klitschko isn't.
