That was a sneaky left hook, and Hatton thought it would be coming towards his body.

Hatton doesn't have much experience with southpaws, but that roundhouse left to the body hurts.

Hatton tried to block it, but he was commited to his own offense at the same time, that he didn't realize that it was being redirected towards his face.

I gotta watch the fight again, but I'm sure Pac set that punch up.

yep i noticed that. Pac definately hurt hatton to the body right before the KO. The irony lol. All those that predicted a hatton win went on about his body punches. And pacman got hatton in the ribs, Hatton arms went down to protect himself then pac whack him up to the chin. proper text book stuff man.

It was actually an overhand left not a left hook. Southpaw fighters hook with their right hand. I don't think that Hatton thought it was going to his body. I think that he never even saw it and was caught completly off gaurd by it.

Defense and Hatton should not be in the same sentence.

Per Hatton, he never saw it coming.

Pac nearly landed the same punch 50 seconds prior. It missed by a hair. Ricky is an idiot, nothing more to add.

ricky reverted back to his schoolyard days, he was sloppy, panicked, and flailing. nothing like the hatton we saw against paulie. too bad.
at the same time, Pac is a machine. i called it pac KO 6, but KO2 blew me away. wow.

I said in anther post that I felt PAC would work the body and be successful even though Rick is the one who's known for his body assult. I think if it would have gone longer PAC would have been really focusing on the body of Ricky. But yea....that was the set up for that great left cross Manny landed on Rick's chin. Great stuff.

I called it a roundhouse, but that's just a matter of semantics isn't it, and I disagree. You can see Hatton eyeing Pac as Pac dipped to throw the punch to what I believe Hatton thought was his body.
