Inoue doesn't seem to want to face MJ Akhmadaliev. The WBA mandatory was supposed to take place by 25th September 2024.

I must congess i haven't followed Innoue all that closely even though i have seen a couple of his fights. High quality fighter, just wish he fought in North America more often.

He’s easy to follow, his fights are broadcast live in America at breakfast time. Commands sellout crowds in Japan, no need now to travel. However. Arum has him scheduled for Las Vegas in the Spring.
Previously he has boxed in America and Scotland.

That was WBA jumping the guns with Hearns trying to get Inoue on the Joshua card on September. IBF is next and that is Goodman, and MJ is next spring. MJ/Hearns is just bickering trying to cut the line ahead of Goodman but like him or not, Goodman became a mandatory well before MJ did, so he's got nothing to base it on other than endlessly complaining hoping someone will bite.

During the presser today Ohashi mentioned either NY or Vegas, but yeah right now practically everything is pointing to an US fight next Spring.

Don’t know too much about Sam Goodman but glad Inoue has managed to squeeze another fight in for this year. Seems to be the norm for all the top fighters nowadays to have only 2 fights a year which is a shame because when you’re at the top of your game and amongst the best fighters in the sport, you should be showcasing your talents as often as you can. Is 3 or even 4 fights a years really too much to ask for?

This will be the ultimate feats of strength for Sam Goodman. I am backing Goodman to pull off a Festivus miracle and beat the Monster in Japan.

I just don't think Goodman has the power to beat Inoue. I remember the mess Inoue made of a quality opponent in Jason Maloney and even though Doheny was able to mess Innoue around a bit, he's a southpaw.

    Goodman is 19-0

Had 4 fights in 2023 and this being his third this year so definitely not an inactive fighter.

Has his record been padded or has he actually faced decent fighters?

He's fought all in Australia but have wins against guys like Aleem and Doheny who are/were top 10 guys in the division.

Both are overmatched against the champion but atleast better than someone like Berlanga who has zero opponents against a ranked guy and literally padded his record to a payday.

What title Mary Jane has again after losing'em? Casimero this, Mary Jane that, all bark no bite. Nery & unbeaten mandatory Goodman this year, P4P#8 Nakatani & 126 titleholder next, Inoue ain't got time for patsies who blew their chances.

At first glance, it sounds like a good fight, but Inoue wins without difficulty, even easier than he beat Nery and Fulton...

People were saying the same about Doheny yet he caused sum problems to the Monster before gettin' his back blown (pause). It's an interesting match-up imo
