Anybody give me any fighters who have a good inside game and any examples of fights where they have used a great inside game? any help would be good
Most of the early Tyson fights James Toney especially at the higher weights where he just move his head and tried to counter with short sharp punches Hattons early stuff against the likes off Thaxton, Olivera, Pep Micky Ward in some his fights getting inside and landing that left hook. Calzaghe Lacy - Lacy was supposed to take joe to town inside. But calzaghe tried him up, spun him round, and still got punches off
Qawi has great transistional game, he's in at long-range then slides in under jabs with his own one and closes the distance superbly. He puts his shots well inside too, nice to watch on how to get inside and use height. I think Arguello fights well inside for a big man, he makes use of every inch he can claim and puts his shots and leverage in nicely. Obviously, Chavez, Duran, Toney etc...
