Intentional DQ's

In light of recent DQ's in Pro boxing. I started thinking about other intentional DQ's where a fighter was looking to get outed. Ingo refused to fight and ran his butt off vs Big Ed Sanders in the amateurs. Look at the Referee's look of disgust.

Golota against Bowe in the rematch. With a terrible cut, Bowe taking Golota's shots, and Golota just being nuts, he wanted out.

I don't know what motivation he had for the first fight though. I'll chalk that one up more to him just being nuts.

Tony Montgomery and Carlos Santos back to back against Donald Curry. Intentionally head-butting him for 3 point deduction and the DQ. It was priceless watching Curry bop Montgomery when he offered to shake Curry's hand after intentionally ramming his head into Curry.

God, watching prime RJJ is so sad.

 

It sure looked like Barrera was trying for this in the first Pacquiao fight. He let loose a whole series of intentional headbutts, hitting on the break, hitting low, etc.

 

Thought a few of these fights like Holmes and jones were a little excessive in their disqualifications
