Watching the Yankee game today....every game, all 162 of them each year, they draw 50, 000 plus. EVERY GAME. 50 thousand people find the time to come to the game every day...the games are hugely publicized, the fans just know they are there and they go...yet some of the biggest fights in boxing, even with huge marketing schemes attached, barely get 10 thousand fans. Sometimes they get only 6 or 7. Good fights at the casinos get 2000.

Baseball is afforable. Promoters and fighters screw the fans at ringside, by the time the main event starts a whole 2 or 3 rows of chairs are placed at ringside and cost thousands of bucks or given away to special friends and movie stars. The only seat I could afford would be in the nosebleed section, so who wants to squent all night long when I sit at home and have a clear picture on T.V.

People pay to sit in the upper upper deck way out in foul ball territory deep to the right of right field...they fill those seats every day

Boxing is a marginalized sport. Too many lousy fights have alienated the fans.

I know man. If I'm going to be good money for seats, I want to be close enough to be splashed by blood! Unless it's Tommy Morrison's of course.

boxing only has showtime and hbo to get the fights out to the public. With like half the fights ending up on PPV....Who the **** is gonna watch boxing when this is the case?

If it was on regular TV, REGULARLY like everyday like baseball and the other similar team sports, than People would watch it too. Boxing was the **** back then, it ain't no more.
