Interesting sparring

here is a guy now training in the gym i go to, and fighting under the owners promotion sparring shannon taylor i think it happened early december, is it me or is shannon completely finished?

 

i didnt quite understand your post??? am i punch drunk or does it not make sense to everyone?

 

sorry didnt make sense just was saying i dont think shannon has anything left, ive seen hector spar before in the gym, and guys have put up more challenge then that, or was shannon just going through the motions, first time seeing shannon spar so im not sure whether its the norm for him or not???

 

How the hell would we know? you havent mentioned who this bloke is, whether hes a pro or am and none of us saw it...

the guy is hector lombard, fights in the cfc competition which fights in bigtop stadium luna park, hes a cuban fighter, been national judo champion or something a few times, fought in pridefc, was spose to make his debut in ufc 79 but had visa issues apparently because he is from cuba....
has a good record is a strong fighter....
and how the hell would we know? there are some guys here that actually go to gyms and fight also and have maybe sparred him, thats why..... thought it would be an interesting conversation point ***** boy

 

He is well past his best, but he usually goes through the motions sparring. His sparring sessions with Paul Briggs, Maselino Masoe and Juarne Dowling have been better than some fights I've seen.

Yeah Shannan has many sparring stories that have made the rounds over the years.:good

 

shannon might have lost sum skills,but is still pretty talented,was probally going through the motions,its only sparring.

 

Shannan is WAY past it anyways.
He is a KO waiting to happen. I wouldnt be surprised if Dan Geale did that should they fight.

If i was Taylor i would take a quick fight like 2 to 3 months out of the potential Geale bout against an easy opponent, just to shake off some ring rust, as he last fought only 1 round in that farce with Sonni Michael Angelo all the way back in September.
Still tho he gets KO'd by Geale IMO.:deal

Taylor is pretty well done, but Kegsy is right, if he had a nice keep busy fight before Geale, he would do a lot better, but no matter when or where Geale will KO taylor if they ever fight.
