Charles would be the best choice IMO. As for Jones' speed. I do think he was similarly fast at LHW, he just wasn't as active and thus not as overall effective.
I agree. If the same margarito that fought Cotto would fight anybody else around 147 he COULD NOT be beaten! I'm sure people are probably going to flame, but think about this.....What fighter have you seen lately that wanted it MORE than marg did against Cotto? The man took some of the vicious shots I've ever seen in boxing. He'd walk right in to (not step back) a huge uppercut by Cotto, get his face smashed in, and keep coming. He's about the only guy in a boxing ring that looked like a damn terminator. I seriously believe you could have hit him upside the head with a damn baseball bat, and he still would have walked forward in that fight. Reasons that he's invinsible: 1) At 147 he's one of the biggest, strongest guys out there (with Paul williams). Meaning he can bang with the bigger guys, or runover the smaller guys. 2) Probably has the most heart of the division (if not of all boxing) 3) Has one of the greatest chins in boxing 4) His workrate is rediculously high 5) his endurance is great 6) Doesn't stop til he gets you Like I said if the SAME margarito would fight anybody...Paul Willaims, Clottey, Berto, PBF, De la Hoya I'd bet he would win. Berto, PBF are not big enough to handle his power. Eventually he would wear them down like Cotto, but at a much faster rate since they can't hit nearly as hard as Cotto. De la Hoya would have the strength, but would gas out. Williams, and Clottey would both be close, good fights, but there's no way they could beat the current version of marg. Williams beat him, but cuz it took him so long to get warmed up, and I bet it woudln't happen again.
Oh come on. You can't seriously think that Margarito beats Hearns and Leonard? Henry Armstrong, Sugar Ray Robinson, Emile Griffith, Jose Napoles, Ray Leonard, Chavez, Floyd Mayweather, Pernell Whitaker, Félix Trinidad, Oscar de la Hoya, Shane Mosley, ..all these guys in their prime spank Margaritos ass.
