I'll come over the hill for this!

But the last sentance in the article confused me.

"It is believed that Frampton will make his hometown debut in March on the undercard of Paul McCloskey’s mooted European light-welterweight title defence at the Kings Hall in May."

Kevin Maree is 100% Irish. I would go as far as describing him as a true Irish warrior. He does not have spray tans and is naturally the colour of a Greek god. He also does not dye his hair jet black to hide the grey hairs poking through. He supplies all his boxers with reyes gloves and his coaching skills are second only to the great freddie roach. All in all kevin Maree is a diamond geezer. ;)

Haha nope but carl just worked out a valuble lesson, the trainer is always 1 step ahead.
If your going to try get one over your better looking trainer make sure he doesnt know stories that you really really wouldnt want to go on eastside! Even if its a belter ;)

news on McCloskey and Spike on irish-boxing.com. Have an interview with Lindsay for tomorrow as well. He said if any of you are looking tickets to give me a shout and I'll put you in touch. He has sold 100 already so a good squad of Irish heading over.

Also SBW - I fixed the glaring error in the Frampton piece ;)

24 February 2010 - By Cormac Campbell Irish middleweight champion Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan will return to action in April on a Frank Warren promoted card.
Speaking to irish-boxing.com O’Sullivan’s manager Paschal Collins said that the Cork native will begin pushing towards major titles in the upcoming 12 months.
“We are just waiting on a date from Frank Warren in April,” he said.
“It will be his first fight under the Warren banner.”
Collins added that his charge, who was nominated in the Prospect of the Year category at the recent Bogart Menswear National Boxing Awards will also return to his natural weight of light-middleweight by the end of 2010.
“Spike will probably have a defence of his Irish middleweight title in the next six months before dropping back down to light-middleweight where he is more effective.”

Question is who will Spike be matched with,

Hopefully Robbie Long will get the chance.....
