Your Luke Keeler. Seen you fight:thumbsup. With your big punching style, you should be a pro. Have you ever thought about turning pro:think
Go on Slappy tell us what he said! I don't suppose he replied and said 'Yeah I know I talk a lot of old shite. I'm a massive **** really' Its the only reply I'd find anyway acceptable
Ok, I have decided on the following: Hillyard 5/2 Sinclair 11/10 Concepcion 10/11 Flournoy 6/4 A £30 accumulator with Skybet pays £1052 I know Prince Arron is a big favourite to beat Hillyard at 2/7 - but I don't think he is worth that price at all. He is a tall rangy fighter but I think Hillyard represents good value to rough him up over 3 rounds and I believe he has had a very good camp. I have taken Concepcion over O'Meara because O'Meara looked awful in his last fight and I think Concepcion is coming into this with good form and will be sharp after his recent bout a few weeks ago. O'Meara has looked like a stylish boxer on previous outings but I still fancy Concepcion Flournoy seems to be tipped by some of the other boxers and seems to be the more talented boxer - plus he has an ABA to his name - so he has to be decent - skill-wise. Plus, Butler is 1/2 - those odds are skewed and poor value. Sinky - over 3 rounds he should be the favourite going into this fight with Pryce. He has the power to KO Pryce and although Pryce says he has trained to start fast - he will need to be very careful as Sinky is at his most dangerous in the early rounds.
I've done Sinclair, Concepcion, Hillyard, Butler and Sinclair outright @ 100/1 ish Also done Sinclair, O'Meara, Hillyard, Flournoy @ 33/1 ish
Good call on Concepcion, I was torn in that O'Meara pick because as you say Brendan, O'Meara looked shite in his last outing.
BamBam - who did you do your bet with? Skybet doesnt allow sinky outright and the pick winners of the quarters. Any of those combinations could come good - the beauty of Prizefighter
Steve - I am not overly convinced either way to be honest - if O'Meara brings his A-game he could simply outbox Concepcion - but feck it - I am going with my first hunch. Can't wait for the action tomorrow night. I wonder if Sinky has any tickets left - I have a mate in London who was looking to go to this as well:think
I got my mate to put it on his online account. think he is with ladbrokes? I reckon if everyone sticks a few quid on the picks they have made respectively then one of us is bound to hit paydirt! Only way we all wash out is if Sinky loses to Pryce
I also have a ton on Sinky outright. I am considering a punt on sinky to take pryce out early. Round 1 KO is 14/1.
Ohh don't be telling me stuff like that or i'll gambled away all my gargling money before I sit down to watch the thing! 14/1 is a great price
