    He's certainly one awkward MF Ardy, an opponent can't come in with an ordinary gameplan thats for sure. :good

    All the Irish fighters won, expect Taggart who lost in 1rd.I'm pissed off they didn't show Sinclair

    Mccloskey looks to be an excellent fighter one I will definately be following. He will go on to better things. Much better fighter than Andy Lee, Macklin & Duddy based on each ones last showings.

    Yip, he reminds me of a Brendan Ingle fighter, with his defence based on reflexes. The first time I seen him box was in the Ulster amateur boxing championship, we thought he was impersonating Prince Hamed.The amateur judges never warmed to his style, but he still managed to win Irish championships.Peters and Breen should be looking to arrange a contest with Colin Lynes in the Kings Hall Belfast, as Paul imo as the beatings of the European champion now.     IMO he needs 5-7 fights with an increasing comp level. Outclassing Bazan is a good win for a 16th fight. They need to keep him facing guys that can help him get ready to challenge for a world title.

    He has the tools but some refinement is part of the game. He needs to focus on opening up his attack by letting his hands go a bit more rather than being defensive at times. Not saying be careless:nono But turn it up in spurts when he's countering. The eight round of todays fight is a good example. McCloskey fell into his defense a little too much. If he had stepped it up? He might have stopped Bazan. He'll need that type of veracity when you look towards a Witter, Hatton, or Malignaggi type of fight.

    I think Colin Lynes last opponent Juho Tolpolla & recent british title challenger Ted Bami would be a reasonable fights if he wins convincingly a fight against Colin Lynes. (these three should be easy wins imo) then with a title in the bag fight David Barnes and then some world rated guys.
