do you not find him exciting shamrock,he may not have the power of naseem but he certainly fights in the same manner and picks his punches superbly.one thing i was impressed about last night was his stamina.

his stamina was awesome, which is indicative of not getting hit as well. that Bazan never really got out of 2nd gear was a dissapointment as we really didn't get a fight out of it. the more I think of it, I am starting to warm to the style. Hitting without being hit is paramount in this game, but Bazan didn't seem to really want to fight. Still, the scenario is interesting, and I wiill be extremely interested in McCloskey from now on. He has my full attention!

I don't know Paul personally, when I was at the amateurs where he was on the bill, that was what his fans called him.

I boxed against St Agnes, my memory of it was, that the place had no heating [it was like a shack inside], it was freezing. There was a couple of "name fighters" there at the time. One was "Squeak" Donnelly and the other guy was called Curry. If you don't live in Belfast now, where do you live?[if you don't mind me asking].:good

I live in Beeston now in the East Midlands. Agies was done up around 2000 so it's a really well equiped club inside, was Sean Cavanagh there at the time? You gotta love those freezing dumps that are irish boxing clubs, beats Fitness First any day!:nut

I,m pretty sure Sean was there then, although when your boxing, your more concerned about who you might be fighting rather than who is training them. But I know Cavanagh is very much involved with the Antrim Board, and he does great work for all of Antrim boxing.:hi:

Now that sounds like a good enough reason to head up there on the session.
