Thanks and no it was post-pads so take what you will from that! A full feature on Corbett to come, hopefully soon, on Irish-boxing. Darren talking about his toughest opponents, the Ulster Hall days in the early 90s and other stuff. Keep your eyes peeled :good
Looking forward to it Steve - Darren is one of the best. i would love him to pull off a shock win in Prizefighter - still thinking about going over to it:good
Am not sure who is promoting rogie hes said hes a free agent and if the money is right will fight Barrett no problem. But on lindsey yeah disappointed about it being so far away but yeah a hearing july 2nd Ulster hall dont take it as gospel but thats what a was told. :bbb

Everything is grand friend, Holiday Inn here we come SWEENEY AND TIMMS INTENT ON VICTORY http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/april10/apr10_sweeney_tims.html JUNE DATE FOR McCLOSKEY http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/april10/apr10_mccloskey_date.html SECOND BITE OF CHERRY http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/april10/apr10_corbett_prizefighter.html
click on EU situation of the titles...it just changed there today- no mention of Esham it just has Patrick Hyland as the challanger. Last week it said the deadline for purse bids was April 22 and had Pickering down as the other challanger???
Anyone see the Timsey Sweeney press release?? they are really going at it verbally, anyway.. Timsey saying Sweeney will come up with a phantom injury and he is just a 'storm in a tea cup'... I really cant wait for this one.. and all thanks to Paddy....
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=92486 This is the lad Poonsawat is fighting next??? Nothing too specail- I thought he was going to go on and take on a few big names!
Surprised to see Tims and Sweeney riling each other up, I thought it was all kept fairly respectable up until now between the pair. Whoever came up with these lines, whether it was Sweeney or the press guy, it's brilliant: “The only noise he'll be making is when he hits the canvas in Limerick. He's a storm in a teacup if you ask me. He's on about becoming a two weight Irish Champ and going on to bigger and better things but he won't need to worry about any of that after I'm finished with him in Limerick.” :rofl
EBU press guy confirmed- Esham Pickering wont be fighting Patrick but Pajo will still challenge for the EU title
how about pajo against jamie arthur. Arthur mite see this winnable last chance for title and we can always draw comparisons between pajo and lindsay.
