the ringside club at the stadium in dublin is a good lil venue if ya ask me.

as for the dazzler and egan, i think they are now the boxers to beat in their respective divisions.

unfortunately, Lindsays bout was cancelled just hours before the card was to begin. The Ontario athletic commission removed Lindsays opponent, Alberto Garza, from the match due to medical reasons. Seems strange to me that they would cancel it just hours before it was supposed to happen which obviously left the promoters with no time to find a replacement. The OAC is well known for being possibly the shittiest commission in all of North America, but I wont blame them for this one yet, without knowing the full details. It could be that they made a good decision. Sucks for Lindsay though, not to mention the crowd at Rama, especially those who travelled from Ireland to see Lindsay fight.

aye tis a celtic scarf, but its more due to the connection with ireland that he's wearing it in the US,i know that john has a lot of connections with the celtic supporters clubs in new york and boston.

i know its off topic for our thread but i have to say i was impressed by amir khan tonight although he does leave himself open often he still has world class handspeed and serious serious aggression.

and one last thing, great night earlier up at Celtic Park in Derry,Derry beating Tyrone pretty handily and Derry City beating St.Pats in dublin last night, derry sport booming at the minute, may it live long.

Don't know if you fellas care but DKM put together a nice tribute for their annual St. Patrick's show and had kind words for Mick at 4:10 of the video. By the way as a huge fan since their early days I was pleased that both Duddy and Lee have used their music for ring entrances!!!

He told me after the Takaloo fight he was finished with it but then came back. Couple of months ago he said the was finished again but seems to publicly hint a possible return. In reality his inactivity speaks volumes.

Does a great job on RTE imo.
