It's best for Rigondeaux. He seems to have an attitude problem, glad he is going back there. Hope he cops the **** on because he is the most talented prospect (if you can call him a prospect) in the world imo.

ok I havnt been exactly been following this but doesnt this kinda mean that Rigo doesnt want to fight for Gary Hyde but yet he is being forced to due to the contract? and Gary himself is doin the forcing even though he knows he doesnt want to fight for him?

Lads, Mundine has bitched out his forced fight with Golovkin. Which means Golovkin has sent out an invitation to fight all top 10 ranked middleweights in the WBA, Matthew Macklin is ranked number 10. I don't think he should take him up on the offer, Golovkin would in all likelyhood beat everyone at 160 now. Do you think he will be interested?

His form has been red hot lately but then again he hasn't been in with anyone that flash in the last while. I think it would be an interesting but dangerous matchup for Macklin.

Depends on how much progress Macklin thinks he has made/is making. I wouldn't fight in Germany, though, you'd need to knock the **** out twice just to get a draw

Interesting read in the Combat Corner of the Newsletter today, wee Jamie Conlan wants Wilton before moving on to a shot at the Commonwealth, O'Hara plans to KO Sykes, legendary trainer Gerry Storey predicts Carlos will be a world champion and the Sinky Column.

Plus, the Six Million Dollar Fighter interview this week is by Eamon Loughlan - who gives interesting insights into the Eastwood Gym when McAuley was sparring with former world champion Hilario Zapata. I read about Zapata in Eastwood's book (one of the better chapters in it) and he was as important to McAuley's schooling as Buchanann was to McGuigan's....

Damn shame there is no link:-(

What really happened was Rigo came to training camp 2 weeks before he was ment to fight and wasnt in shape. He took a bit of a beating in sparring off a kid with no am experiance because he was not in shape (It was not bendevez) He took a hissy fit and left LA and went to Las Vegas to see Lara fight. This whole manageria thing has been going on for over a year this was their final appeal as far as I am aware

He was offered that before the Arthur fight against Mexican Orlando Salido. He has a lot of options, is he going to go for the IBF title eliminator in his next fight?

looks like it. He text me this morning, then Maloney sent a press release saying him and Billy Dib will fight. If Dib turns it down it goes to next available challenger.

Will this be Lindsay's next contest in July, or is Dib planned for later in the year?
