Billy Dib is no mug. He'll have a tough nights work in store if thats who he ends up matched up against.

Prince Naseem managed Dib at the start of his career, Dib's family is from Yemen and Dib styles himself on the Prince, but thats were the similarity ends. I've seen Dib box a few times on SKY and on KO TV, and he's not world class or wasn't then. But if Martin is to progress on to the world scene he needs to be able to handle THE "Dibs" of this world, so that in itself will be the test here.

I agree with you 100% Ardy. Dib is fringe world class. I saw him drop a decision to Leuvano. The yank commentators made out like he was total garbage which he wasn't. He was soundly beaten though.

A good step up and test for Lindsay and the type he must overcome if he's to go all the way but far from a clear cut night in store I reckon

Also, I didn't know that about Hamed and Dib. How do you fit all this stuff in your brain!

I'm all for Andy Lee and all that craic but that just seems a ****ing outrageous statement to make. Not even a good thing to be saying to create a few headlines or whatever. It just seems so silly

I would NEVER use that as a headline for a story on Andy. I know manny made some similar statements in the post fight press conference and it was not picked up on because we've heard it all before.

Andy is an extremely talented fighter and i noticed he had his swagger back on Saturday I say let the boy get on with his job rather then telling people hes better than Martinez.

I believe out of the Irish Middleweights Andy's style is probably the best for a Martinez fight.

Call me crazy but I think Lee would be a nightmare for Martinez. A Southpaw who is a boxer and with much longer reach and height, I even think he would negate Martinez's speed because Lee would not start off slowly. I just think styles make fights but this would not be ideal for Martinez.

I actually think Lee has the style to beat Martnez too. Lee's problem won't be against boxers but come forward pressure fighters. Someone like Golovkin would be a nightmare for Lee. I can't see him losing to many on points. N'Jikam would probably one of the very few who could get a points decision.

Martinez would be a 50/50. I think Lee would be heavy favourite to beat Sturm and Sylvester.

Jaysus Lee v Martinez is 50/50 and he's favourite against Sturm and Sylvester?

I'd love him to beat the **** out of the lot of them but theres no basis for that kind of talk to be honest. As Paddy says just let him get on with it for a while (still needs 2-3 fights IMO) instead of claiming he's up on a level he's never even operated at before

Jesus Christ the love for Andy Lee has gotten out of hand again,it wasn't too long ago that he was struggling against middle-tier journeymen, and now a quick KO of a guy who didn't want to be in the ring and he's an elite middleweight again.

Can he beat a top 20 middleweight first before we hype him up like before. The last time Manny talked this crap Lee lost to a distinctly average Vera
